President - Todd Case

Originally from Western New York, Todd was born in 1977 and grew up in the towing industry, working alongside his father in the family business. In 1998, after earning an associate degree in Criminal Justice, Todd began a career in law enforcement that spanned 16 years. During his tenure as a police officer, he served in multiple specialized roles, including Evidence Technician, Field Training Officer, K-9 Handler, and Criminal Interdiction. Todd was recognized for his work with the largest cash seizure in Hamilton County, Indiana, and was awarded the Police Medal of Valor for rescuing a woman from a frozen retention pond.

In 2011, Todd and his wife Darcy took a leap of faith and purchased Indiana Recovery Services. Combining Todd’s industry experience with Darcy’s background in accounting and business, they began building what has become a highly respected operation. Todd continued serving part-time in law enforcement until 2014, when he fully committed to growing the business.

Under their leadership, Indiana Recovery Services has grown from a single location with two trucks and four employees into a multi-location operation with four locations, 47 vehicles, and more than 70 employees. Today, IRS is the largest repossession company in the State of Indiana. Despite this growth, Todd and Darcy remain hands-on in daily operations—it is not uncommon to see Todd in the field or Darcy stepping in to support office operations when needed.

They have also been innovators in the industry, developing a dedicated vehicle transport division that includes an 8-car semi-and-trailer combination, four 4-car haulers, and four 2-car rollbacks. Today, they transport for all major auctions across Indiana and handle approximately 85% of the vehicles they repossess. Todd further strengthened this division by obtaining his CDL in 2019 and continues to assist with transport operations when needed.

Todd is actively involved in advancing the repossession industry. In 2021, he spoke at the North American Repossession Summit (NARS) on “Growing a Successful Repossession Company.” In 2022, Todd and Darcy were honored with the “Business Owners of the Year” award. Recognizing the need for stronger state-level representation, Todd helped found the Indiana Professional Repossessors Association (INPRA) in 2022 alongside Darcy Case, Steve Brown (Lenders Recovery), and Michelle Mauck (Mauck Recovery). Todd has also been recognized with a leadership award for his contributions to the industry and currently serves as the President of the American Recovery Association (ARA), where he continues to advocate for professionalism, safety, and industry-wide standards.
